Can't wait to share the newest insights and achievements with you! We have listened closely to the voice of our focus group, and it really helped us understand exactly which features the Misolla users need the most. That's the idea that our team has been diligently materializing, and we are excited to actually share with you the latest updates and company news.

Misolla Music goes Live in the App Store

Good news for all iOS users: the long-awaited Misolla Music has finally arrived in the App Store! You can download the app for free, connect your phone or tablet to your piano, and you are good to go. Our song library focuses for the time being on classical music; bear with us, we're working on its extension. In the meantime, feel free to upload your own songs in the MusicXML format, which you can grab from platforms like Musescore.

    New Features We Added

We have gathered users' reviews about Misolla Music, and here is what we did with them! After carefully reviewing your thoughts, we underlined the top four must-haves of all features, and we are excited to tell you they are live on the platform, just waiting for you to explore.

    Songs Search in the App

As we use the Misolla Music app ourselves, we know just how annoying it felt when one couldn't look for a song straight in the library. Therefore, we set it as one of the priorities. Now, with the new search bar, you can easily type in the title of the song or the name of the composer, and you can find what you need.

    Last Played Section

Having a 'Last Played' section is essential for staying on track with your practice. Now, instead of trying to remember what you've been working on or which songs you were playing last, you can simply check the app and pick up right where you left off. If you played some pieces the day before, revisit them in an instant; if you want to see improvements over the course of the week, this feature will allow you to dive back into your music in no time.

    My Uploaded Window

Previously, every time you uploaded a MusicXML file, it got mixed with all the songs that were in the general library. That made finding things you had uploaded personally a bit more cumbersome. Now, we have made it so much easier on you by creating an 'My Uploaded' section.

This new window will make for much faster access to your uploaded songs in one place and provide you with easy further practice either on your favorite pieces or those which you added yourself.

    Profile Settings

This is a basic feature, still new but very powerful, that lets you manage all your important account details in one place. Now you can easily update the following:

    • Name
    • Profile picture
    • Country
    • Language (currently available in English and Ukrainian)
    • Subscription type

Having all these options at your fingertips makes it easier to customize to your liking and keep your profile fresh.

Misolla Music at Lviv IT Arena

That included the chance of introducing the Misolla Music app to the broad audience at Lviv IT Arena's Startup Alley. The participants were given an opportunity to try the application on iOS, to play a piece of music, and to take part in a rhythm quiz. That was fun showing them how it actually works in a real setting.

In addition, besides demonstrating the features of self-study piano learning on the app, we introduced an option for the first time to learn with a teacher. We got very valuable feedback from the attendees, which has provided us with worthwhile insights into future improvements.
